What defines the design of this bathroom project?

This project was thoughtfully designed to evoke both serenity and understated luxury. BKDP focused on clean lines, soft textures, and refined proportions to create a space that feels spa-inspired yet timeless. Beyond aesthetic enhancements, the bathroom layout was reimagined to improve both functionality and flow. The redesign introduced a private water closet, a spacious two-person shower with a fixed frosted glass panel to diffuse light into the enclosed water closet area, a double-sink vanity with enhanced storage, and a sculptural freestanding tub positioned beside a new window to invite natural light into the space.

How does BKDP approach high-end bathroom design?

BKDP emphasizes both functionality and atmosphere. In Serene Elegance, the use of natural light, soft tones, and refined fixtures resulted in a balanced space that supports rejuvenation and well-being.

How long does a bathroom design project take?

For focused projects like this, the design phase usually takes 3-5 weeks, followed by an efficient construction period managed by BKDP’s in-house team.

Did BKDP manage the entire renovation process?

Yes. BKDP oversaw the entire project from concept through execution—including demolition, fixture and finishes procurement, trades coordination, plumbing layout, and finish installations.

What are some features that clients should consider including in their bathroom design?

We always begin by optimizing the layout to introduce missing functions or enhance comfort and flow. Once the spatial planning is refined, we often incorporate thoughtful features such as a private water closet, double sinks—particularly in primary ensuites or shared bathrooms—handheld shower sprays, radiant heated floors, upgraded ventilation with timer controls, and high-quality, functional lighting.

Equally important are the long-term considerations: selecting materials and finishes that are easy to maintain and will continue to look beautiful years down the line. We also design with everyday use in mind, ensuring the space is not only visually striking, but also highly functional and effortlessly livable
